The Town hall and the Federation of Boxing sign an agreement for the diffusion and promotion of the practice of this sport

The Federation of Boxing will use the Prince of Asturias and the Puente Tocinos sports centre for free to develop its exhibitions and competitions.

The Town hall pretends to facilitate facilities and sports services to the Boxing Federation to support the interest, promotion and the practice of boxing in Murcia. The Federation will celebrate a monthly conference in La Torre de Puente Tocinos sports centre, and will realize some events in the Prince of Asturias. With this agreement, the Federation will go from celebrating two parties to fourteen, four in the Prince of Asturias and ten in the Puente Tocinos sports centre.

The Town hall endorses the ambitious project of the Boxing Federation for the diffusion and practice of this sport among the youngest.

Considering the agreement, the Town hall hands over two facilities to the Federation of Boxing freely, the Town hall stops taking into the treasury 6.000 Euros a year for the above mentioned facilities.

Next to Cascales and Abellán there have been the vice-president of the Federation of Boxing, Andrés Ortiz; the boxer José Ortega Chumilla; and the technical director of the Federation, José de Paco.
