The councillorship of Sports extends Jose Barnés sports centre with two tennis courts and one of roller hockey
The aim is to increase the memberships of the Municipal School of Tennis.
The Jose Barnés’ sports centre will count with three new sports courts, two of tennis and one of roller hockey, to extend the sports offer to the users.The new dimensions for the tennis courts will be 40x18,32 and a surface of 785,25 square meters; the other one will be 741,70 square meters, the pavement will be acrylic type. The roller hockey court will count with 40x20 meters and will take up 795,50 square meters. The pavement is made out of polished terrazzo. It counts with the hockey regulations and for that it will be able to receive real competitions of federated teams. In addition, the 3 courts will have installed the proper lighting and the improved of the accesses to the sport centre placing new paving stone.The extension of the Jose Barnés’ sport centre is placed in the area of the former Feminine sport centre, next to the Fofó’s park. The aim of this extension is to offer more memberships to the School of Tennis and to satisfy the demand of the users who practice roller hockey, skating, etc. Likewise, it will complete the offer that Jose Barnés’ sports centre has. The investment foreseen in these works is 300.000 Euros and the term of execution is 3 months.
